Return Policy

At Element Tea, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your order and will gladly accept back any unused, non-consumable items that you do not wish to keep. As discussed below, please notify us via email of your intent to return any unused, non-consumable items within with 30 days of receipt of your order. Due to the high demand surrounding the holiday season, for orders placed between Thanksgiving Day and December 25th, the 30 day period is extended to include January 31st and  must be postmarked by February 5th. For all unwanted, unused, non-consumable items, you, the customer, are responsible for all shipping charges and arrangements necessary to return your order. Once we receive your return, we will process your refund or exchange, as described below.

PLEASE NOTE:  We are not responsible for incorrect deliveries resulting from customer-supplied, incorrect addresses. If an incorrect address was provided at the time of ordering, resulting in the ordered delivery being returned to our office, your purchase will be refunded less a 35% restocking fee. The same restocking fee applies to orders that are returned resulting from three failed UPS/USPS delivery attempts. The fee is assessed to cover the shipping charges we incur when UPS returns your order to Element Tea.

Returns Are Simple:

Element Tea strives hard to insure that your order is received in perfect condition. However, from time to time, damage may occur during shipping. We also attempt to avoid mistakes, but, occasionally, we still make them and different problems warrant different actions. 

Damaged Goods

The process to return damaged goods begins by contacting the Element Tea returns department within 7 days of receipt of your order, at returns@elementtea.com.

For non-consumable items, we will e-mail you a pre-paid postage label in order for you to return the damaged items. Once we receive the items, your new order will be shipped out to you the next business day.

It is essential, however, that you retain and return the damaged item, as well as all original packing materials, everything, to permit the returns department to authorize and process the necessary credits or replacements.  We apologize that this is necessary, but it is required by the shipping company.

 

Mistakes

If items have been shipped to you in error, please contact us at returns@elementtea.com within 7 days after receipt of the order so that we may rectify the problem immediately. 

For consumable items, we will ship out the correct order to you by the next business day upon a showing that the incorrect consumable product was delivered.  There is no need to return the incorrect delivery.

For non-consumable items, we will e-mail you a pre-paid postage label in order for you to return the incorrect items. Once we receive the items, your correct order will be shipped out to you the next business day.

Returns - Non Consumable Items Only

The process to return non-consumable goods begins by contacting the Element Tea returns department within 30 days of receipt of your order, at returns@elementtea.com. Please be sure to include your name, address, order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.  Our returns department will respond to your request within two business days and will issue you a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number, if approved.  

Customers are responsible for the return shipping and the condition in which the item is in when received by the Element Tea returns department.  Please use the shipping carrier most convenient for you to send the package to the following address:

*Items that have been used, washed, damaged or, altered in anyway from their original state will be rejected upon receipt and no credit or replacement will be provided. 

Once we have received the returned product, we will ship any requested replacement products within two business days or issue you a credit.

 

Returns – Consumables

Due to health and safety concerns, we are, unfortunately, unable to accept any returns on any consumable products.
